Olga V. McNeill

Olga V. McNeill graduated from Ippolitov-Ivanov College of Music in Moscow, Russia. Graduated with the Honors Diploma as Head of Creative Band, Music Master, Orchestra and Ensemble performer. The degree is equivalent to Bachelor of Arts in Music (Flute). Studied with Leonid Mironovich (now a professor at the Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts who also performed with the New Hampshire Symphony). She played with the Russian Folk Orchestra "Boyan" and also in Masters Program in Ippolitov-Ivanov University of Music in Moscow, Russia. She also had Master's class in Flute at Rossini Conservatory in Pesaro, Italy and at the University of Music in San Marino. Mrs. McNeill has had Master's classes in Flute with Jean Larson, the first Flutist of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. Mrs. McNeill also plays duet with harpist Juliette Rose Buchanan for special functions, such as weddings and recitals. She has also played as a soloist with the Martin String Quartet and the Corelli Strings Ensemble. She performed with the Plano Symphony Orchestra. Mrs. McNeill performs with Atlanta Flute Choir and plays duets with harpist Deedi Henson. She has had Master’s classes in Flute with Carl Hall, the professor at Emory University, a musician with Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Gwinnett Philharmonic. Mrs.McNeill is on the substitute list with Atlanta Opera, Cobb Symphony, and Georgia Philharmonia & teaches at the Cambridge Academy of Music.
